Since he left the womb Stu has been seeking new outlets for creative expression. He grew up in the countryside near Nelson, BC (a hot bed of creative activity) where he roamed the forests collecting bugs, building tree forts and digging up dirt with his motorbike. Throughout his teens he began pursuing his artistic aspirations with the same zeal for which he attacks life. Eventually this led him to Vancouver where he attended the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design to begin his animation studies. After graduation he got his first break at Delaney & Friends Productions starting at the bottom rung as an animation assistant.
Stu trudged up the ranks of animation, excelled at his work and eventually hauled off to Asia where he began a distinguished career as an Overseas Animation Supervisor. Returning to his homeland Stu decided to trigger his plan of World Domination and employing the help of long time friend and co-worker Glen Schachowskoj starting Animation Brewery Productions Ltd. With his keen sense of detail and order Stu keeps things running smoothly and efficiently at the studio. He employs a no-nonsense attitude and excellent punching power to keep the staff working at peak levels (no one can rally the troops better than Stu when he puts on his eye patch and starts screaming “avast ye mates?. If Stu’s not at his drawing desk or on the phone in the studio you can usually find him belting out “Take On Me?at his favorite karaoke bar or at home playing with his cat Scammer.
